Why do we ask for a security deposit?

To ensure the property is well-cared for during your stay, we place a temporary hold (pre-authorization) on your credit card.

This is not a payment. You won’t be charged unless damage is reported.

What amount is held?

The amount depends on your property — usually between €500 and €2000.

What happens after my stay?

  • If everything is in order, the hold is automatically released within 30 days.

  • If damage is found, we will contact you before any amount is taken, and only the cost of repairs will be charged.

What if I notice something wrong when I arrive?

How do I pay the online security deposit?

You’ll receive an email and see a button on your customer dashboard.
Click “Secure My Deposit” — you’ll be redirected to a secure page to authorize the hold with your card.
