Chalet Lunar reviewed by Clementine
Overall, we did enjoy our stay at Chalet Lunar. The kitchen and living quarters were of a very nice standard, although it is a tight fit with 4 adults and 6 children. We did however have some issues during our stay; The food waste bin was completely full, and very smelly, when we arrived. It had not been cleared or cleaned from the previous guests. There was a lot of dirty cutlery, crockery and the oven trays that also had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Many of the dining chairs were unstable, and had broken wooden brackets holding the legs together precariously. There were many chipped mugs and glasses. On the top floor, the shower seal was broken, so the door did not shut properly and a lot of water came out when showering. There was mould in this shower too, and the arm holding the shower head was loose, so the shower head was not secured stably. The side panels on the bath in the top bathroom were loose, and dangerous with small children. Some of the plug sockets would not work. The outside ski locker did not shut properly. The orange sled was cracked, and one of the children cut their finger quite badly on this.
