Les Gets - Snowing all night - Weather report
It was snowing all last night, the temperature plummeted and it did not stop until around 10.00 this morning.
There is around 3 inches or 10cm of snow on the balcony outside the Chalet, long icicles by reception and the whole village has turned into Narnia overnight.
We were due to have workmen arrive at the Chalet to finish some of the renovation works, but they could not get to us as they were snowed in, we will be making plans to ensure they can get to us to finish off the renovation works in time for the start of the ski season.
As we are between seasons, the roads are not cleared, so we are certainly thankful we have a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
The picture opposite was from Chalet Hastings, you can see the snow on top of Chalet Chavannes and the icicles hanging down.
