Les Gets - New Ski lift at Chamossière - Trial
Yesterday and today we tried the new ski lift at Chamossière...
The good news is that this is very fast - one of the fastest lifts we have experienced - and from the top of Chamossière you can ski right down to the area where there are a number of restaurants at the bottom of the Chamossière express - so this is a very long run.
On the first day we tried this, there was a lot of mist at the middle level, once we were above the midst the sky was clear blue and you could see for miles.
With the new lift, you come out a little lower than the old lift - but the speed is fantastic. Yesterday the Chamossière was excellent - but today it was just too popular - so we went over to the 'bowl' which was nowhere nearly as busy.
