Ski-touring on The Chavannes - Les Gets - Snow pictures from today
Mark went on a ski-touring hike this afternoon on the Chavannes side, he took some beautiful pictures of white landscape. Fresh snow, sunshine, blue sky and peace.
Ski touring is an incredible sport that allows you to climb the snow-covered slopes independently, get away from the crowds on the slopes and enjoy the incredible scenery. As you can see in these beautiful photos, the snow was a real treat today!
He started his ski touring mid-afternoon, so you can see that others had already been out to enjoy the mountains.

Nantaux Peak and the surrounding mountains are sprinkled with fresh snow. A real treat for the eyes!
