Chalet Lunar is a great chalet for two families to share. While I feel it would lack in sufficient living space for a larger party if you had older children, it was fine for us with little ones in bed earlier. It worked really well for one family to have the top floor and one to have the lower ground floor and we were not disturbed too much in the night by each other's children waking. The location is good for ski in ski out (snow dependant) and it isn't far to walk into town. The bus to get up took a while and was infrequent so we only used this option once. The amenities are good with Miele and Neff appliances, raclette and coffee machine however the kitchen equipment is lacking in some of the basics for anyone keen on cooking, knives were blunt etc and we had multiple issues with the dishwasher and downstairs loo while we were there which was frustrating. We also could not all have a shower or bath on the same day as the hot water was not sufficient. If we ran both upstairs and downstairs baths which were shared by multiple children, then the remaining adults always ended up with a cold shower in spite of trying to overide the immersion as per the chalet manual. We may be old school but we also would really have appreciated a printed copy of the chalet manual as we would all rather get off our phones and apps while on holiday and would have preferred a paper copy. The wood fire is lovely but awkwardly positioned by the table rather than the sofa area making some people roasting over dinner but not the end of the world. The boot heaters were fantastic and plentiful and the external ski locker was great too. Beds were really comfy and hot tub was fun to use on the couple of times we did. Just as feedback specifically to Chalet1066 I implore you to offer guests proper bath towels and bathmats not such stingy sized ones. It really is horrid having such tiny towels and bathmats. Equally, we had not realised how far out of town your office was and had we not had a car in resort it would have been really impractical to get all our bags there post check out and prior to pick up by our transfer. I am surprised you do not have somewhere more central or conveniently located for this. At the beginning of the week we were told we would be able to leave them in the boot room but this changed the day before departure. Otherwise communication with the team was very good and they always responded promptly.
